A biblical theme park in Israel plans to fit out its donkeys with WiFi so its riding visitors can stay connected to the world wide web.
Kfar Kedem, or Village of Yore, in the Galilee, expects that visitors will send emails and pictures of their experiences from the comfort of their donkey’s back, as they check out the attraction.
The park offers visitors insights into Judean life from the First and Second centuries.
Staff wear period dress and visitors can ride donkeys as part of the experience.
Park manager Menachem Goldberg told the Times of Israel: “Our village has 30 donkeys, and we’ve equipped the first five with wireless routers that are attached to the donkey’s body.
“In the future we’ll consider equipping all of the donkeys with the apparatuses as necessary.”
