Rescuers prepare to lift a Florida horse stranded in a swimming pool.

Balmy Florida is an ideal place for a twilight dip in a pool, but not such a good idea if you’re a horse with no means of getting out.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue was called early on Tuesday evening to the 2300 block of Fawn Drive in Deer Run, near Wellington.

Firefighters arrived to find the 30-year-old horse in no apparent distress, waiting with its owner for an answer to the predicament.

A sling and crane were used to lift the horse to safety.
