A scholarship with leading eventing rider Mark Todd is up for grabs in a new initiative between British Eventing and Todd’s sponsors.
The winner will receive three individual training sessions and mentoring from Todd, a year’s worth of Keyflow feed to the value of £1500 plus nutritional advice, and clothing, tack and horse-wear from the Mark Todd Collection to the value of £1500.
As an extension to the British Eventing Mark Todd Bridging the Gap Training Series (MTBTG), BE has teamed up with the Mark Todd Collection and Keyflow Feeds to provide a sponsorship and support package for a rider aiming for Advanced/2* level or progressing to 3*.
The Bridging the Gap training series was launched this season. It provides targeted training for riders around the country aiming for Advanced/2* level, progressing to 3 to improve their skills.
All riders that take part in one or more of the ridden MTBTG training sessions throughout 2013 are eligible and are invited to apply for the scholarship.
The winning applicant will be someone who is working hard to fulfil their competitive ambitions but who perhaps lacks the resources to access world-class training and support.
The winner will be selected by Todd, BE Accredited Coaches Gill Watson and Lizzel Winter, and representatives from Keyflow Feeds and the Mark Todd Collection.
The winning rider will act as an ambassador for the Mark Todd brands throughout 2014 and be involved in promotion and publicity surrounding the Mark Todd Bridging the Gap Training Series, as well as the scholarship.
