A suicide bomber riding a donkey has killed three servicemen and an interpreter in Afghanistan.
The attack was confirmed by the US-led International Security Assistance Force in a statement.
The morning blast occurred in the Sayedabad district of Wardak province.
The rider of the donkey approached soldiers on a joint patrol before detonating his explosives. He was dressed like a farmer, according to reports.
Officials did not give the nationality of those killed.
ABC News reports that American servicemen were among the casualties.
Four Afghan soldiers and several civilians were injured.
