Tickets have gone on sale for Australia’s Melbourne International Horse Trials 2014 at Werribee over Queen’s Birthday weekend in June.
Admission for the first day – Friday, 6 June – is free, while for the remainder of the weekend daily tickets are $35 for adults, $25 concession and for children aged 4-15 years tickets are $10.
Last month, organisers unveiled a record total prize pool of more than $50,000 for the competition, making it the richest CCI three-star event in the country.
More than 10,000 spectators are expected to attend the event at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre, 20km from Melbourne, which is the final Australian qualification chance for the 2014 World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Normandy, France in August.
Horse and rider combinations with the 2016 Rio Olympic Games in their sights, will target the event to provide an Australian based qualification for potential national selection.
