A Bulgarian firm has released a horse jumping game for iPhone, iPads and iPod touch devices.
Internet Reshenia said its Jumpy Horse Show Jumping 1.0 allowed users to create customised jumping courses and run a variety of horses through them.
It said the game featured different modes of play, 30 different course plans, 10 ready-to-play courses, seven different equine breeds from which to choose, customised horse colour, and the ability to change camera view angles and altitude.
Although there are 10 ready-to-play courses and 30 different course plans, players can design an unlimited number of unique courses and immediately test them with their favorite horse.
With the course design feature, players can customize the course size, its height, and its terrain. They can also add waypoints and choose from a variety of obstacles to challenge their horse.
Initially, players have two horses to choose from. However, there are seven different breeds that can be selected to compete from the Breed menu. The breeds are appaloosa, arabian, hanoverian, mustang, shire, thoroughbred and zebra.
Each horse can be customized with different colors and markings.
The smart camera feature offers a variety of settings for better gameplay.
“Our family’s own horse inspired this equine-themed game,” said Dobromir Panchev, founder of Internet Reshenia.
“Until then, I had been coding mostly business applications. My sister, Siyka Petrova, is responsible for the richly detailed and beautiful animations. We think players will enjoy designing the showjumping course of their dreams.”
Users will require iOS 6.0 or later, and an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. The game requires 96.9MB.
The game costs $US1.99 and is available worldwide through the App Store in the Games category.
