About 25,000 individual tickets to the World Equestrian Games in Normandy were sold in the first three days of the event’s third ticketing phase.

Organisers say some 15,000 tickets were sold on the first day, with sales of showjumping, eventing and dressage tickets making up two-thirds of the total.

By ticket sales, the favourites are the eventing cross-country at Le Pin National Stud (6,000 places sold in 3 days), the marathon in the 4-horse driving competition (nearly 1000 places) and the reining (more than 1000 places).

All the places for the reining final, and the eventing dressage and jumping phases have been sold out.
