Todd Gloyn has been named as the new chairman of Eventing for Equestrian Sports New Zealand.
The Palmerston North dairy farmer has been an eventing rider for more than 25 years, competing regularly up to 3-star level, including a three-year stint in Britain.
Gloyn has been part of Eventing Central District’s organising committee for more than 20 years, including a long stint as vice-Chairman. He also sat at the Board table as North Island Riders’ Representative for four years and has chaired the Eventing Performance Committee for four years.
Immediate past chairman Nick Pyke has opted to stand down due to increased personal work commitments, and to allow him to fulfil his role as ESNZ Vice-President, but will remain on the Eventing Board.
