Mrs Tweedy and her foal Harlequin were part of a major rescue we carried out last year in Caerphilly.

British equine charity Redwings has joined a scheme whereby supporters can give unwanted clothes to raise funds.

redwings-logoThe Clothes for Charity scheme recycles unwanted clothing and gives the proceeds to the giver’s nominated charity.

The scheme gives £200 per tonne of clothing to the nominated charity. Those wishing to give request a donation bag and arrange a collection or drop-off at a time and place to suit.
