Both Germany and Canada have released official mobile smartphone apps for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.
Equine Canada’s app allows readers to follow the country’s team at the Games and at the 2015 Pan American Games. It is available from the Apple Store and Google Play.
The app includes competition schedules, daily news updates, results, team bios and more.
There’s also a “selfie” contest for those downloading the app, with the chance to win team apparel and an FEI TV annual subscription. To enter, use the ‘Fan Photo‘ tool to take a picture wearing an official CET helmet. Post the picture to Twitter using the hashtag #CETWEG and @Equine_Canada. The contestant with the most favourites and retweets at the end of the Opening Ceremony on Saturday, August 23, will win the FEI TV subscription. The contestant with the most favourites and retweets at the end of the Closing Ceremony on Sunday, September 7, 2014 will win a Canadian Equestrian Team apparel prize pack.
